Fathia Ayodele Kareem, has been trending on the social media after she became the overall best Medical student from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, School of Medical Sciences, Ghana.
This beautiful young lady took home 12 out of the 15 student awards, breaking the initial record of 8 out of 15, which was set in 2015 by 24-year old Charles Djughab. Charles Djugbah broke the then 40-year old record by raking in 8 out of the 15 available awards at the end of his course at the university.
After seven years of studying medicine, Fathia is now a qualified doctor and is committed to helping improve healthcare in Ghana. The future is undoubtedly bright for Fathia and she hopes to focus on pediatrics/child care, a field for which she won the Ben Baffoe-Bonnie prize for Child Care.
