Breaking: Weah wins 62 % of votes for Liberian presidency

    Provisional outcomes simply introduced by Liberia’s National Elections Commission (NEC) have positioned former worldwide soccer famous person, George Weah, forward with 720,023 votes or 61.5 per cent.

    Incumbent Vice President Joseph Boakai is way behind with 451,088 votes or 38.59 per cent.

    Chairman of NEC, Mr Jerome Korkoya, introduced the outcomes at a press convention in Monrovia.
