Workers at a German petrol station fought off an escaped prisoner who was attempting to rob them by bombarding him with beer bottles, police stated.
The masked man appeared on the petrol station in Muensterland, western Germany late Thursday, demanding cash and threatening the cashier with a knife.
Police stated the station’s cashier began swearing on the assailant.
Authorities stated she then threw cans of beer at him.
