    Police confirms killing of four in Adamawa

    The Adamawa Police Command has confirmed the killing of 4 folks at Kamale village in Michika Local Government Area of the state.

    The command’s Spokesman, SP Othman Abubakar, informed the newsmen that the member representing Michika/Madagali Federal Constituency, Rep. Adamu Kamale, narrowly escaped the assault.

    Abubakar, who didn’t give particulars of the incident, nonetheless mentioned that the assault was carried out by unknown gunmen who got here with an inventory, going from home to deal with calling the names of their victims.

    Abubakar mentioned no arrest was made and that investigation is ongoing.

    Meanwhile, a brand new Commissioner of Police, Mr Ibrahim Yerima, has assumed obligation in Yola.

    Yerima, who assumed obligation on Friday, was till his appointment a Deputy Commissioner answerable for  Armament Operations, Force Headquarters, Abuja.

    Yerima took over from CP Moses Jitoboh.
