The agMOOCs Consortium, initiated and supported by the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) will likely be providing two Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) ranging from Feb. 20.
COL’s Communications Manager, Mr Obinna Okwelume, in a press release on Friday in Abuja, mentioned that the programs, ‘Fundamentals of Agricultural Extension’ and ‘Integrated Disease Management,’ had been out there to learners anyplace on the planet for gratis.
He mentioned that within the agMOOCs Consortium, no prior studying within the topics was required for learners.
Okwelume mentioned that the MOOCs had been supplied on the stage of a course in an undergraduate programme.
Since 2015, the agMOOCs Consortium has supplied a complete of 16 MOOCs overlaying about 27,000 learners from over 100 nations.
About 5,600 learners have acquired certificates of participation or competency.
