An Ado Ekiti Chief Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday ordered 40-year-old pastor, Olakanye Oni, accused of killing a 39-year-old girl, be remanded in jail.
Oni, whose deal with was not supplied on the courtroom, pleaded not responsible to a cost of homicide.
The prosecutor, Insp. Johnson Okunade, instructed the courtroom that the homicide suspect dedicated the offence on or about Dec. 13, 2017 at Ado Ekiti.
He alleged that Oni dedicated the offence via diabolical means as a result of one thing unusual was discovered within the non-public a part of the murdered girl.
According to the prosecutor, the offence contravenes Sections 325 of the Criminal Code Cap C16 Law of Ekiti, 2012.
The chief Justice of the Peace, Mr Aderopo Adegboye, thereafter ordered that Oni be remanded in jail till the following adjourned date of Jan. 15 for point out.
