President Buhari on Friday authorized the appointment of 209 chairmen and 1258 eminently certified Nigerians to fill the Board positions and membership of the Agencies and Parastatals.
Mr Abbey Oguntuase, the interim chairman, and coordinator of the social gathering advised the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on the phone from Johannesburg, South Africa, that the appointments have been a step in the correct path.
He mentioned that certified Nigerians had been given a way of belonging and the prospect to contribute to the expansion and growth of the Agencies and parastatals.
“APC South Africa chapter commends President Buhari for these appointments. As an Ekiti state indigene, I really feel fulfilled with the appointees from our state.
“They are eminently qualified to serve on the boards appointed. We, however, urge the appointees to justify the confidence reposed on them by the Federal Government,” he mentioned.
According to Oguntuase, this can be a name to serve the nation in the next capability and optimum outcomes are anticipated from the appointees.
