    Campaign for the presidential and governorship elections in 2019 will start in November, the  Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC mentioned in a   timetable launched right now.

    According to the timetable, marketing campaign for the  presidential and National Assembly election will begin on Nov. 18, whereas the marketing campaign for the  governorship will start on Nov. 2.

    Party primaries together with the decision of disputes arising from primaries  have been mounted for between August 18, 2018 to October 7, 2018 for nationwide and state elections.

    Primaries for the  FCT Area Council are slated for between September four and October 27, 2018.

    INEC National Chairman, Mahamood Yakubu informed journalists Tuesday in Abuja, that the fee arrived on the schedule of actions after its assembly held on right now.

    According to him, the Publication of Notice of Election for National and State Elections could be on August 17, 2018 whereas that of the FCT Area Council Elections could be completed on September three, 2018.

    Commencement of marketing campaign for the FCT Area Council elections will start on  December 2.

    The final day for the submission of nomination varieties to INEC is December three, 2018 for Presidential and National Assembly Elections; December 17 for Governorship and State Assembly and December 14, 2018 for the FCT Area Council Elections.

    INEC equally mounted the final day for campaigns for February 14, 2019 for Presidential and National Assembly Elections in addition to February 28, 2018 for Governorship, State Assembly and FCT Area Council Elections.
