    Kidnappers have killed two Nigerian policemen and kidnapped two Americans and two Canadians in  Kaduna state.

    The foreigners have been kidnapped on Kwoi-Jere street in Kagarko Local Government Area  on their method to Abuja from  Kafanchan and Kaura. They have been ambushed  round 7:00 PM on Tuesday.

    Kidnapping is rife within the Kaduna axis of the nation and regardless of efforts by the police in flushing out suspects, it continues.

    Mukhtar Aliyu, a  spokesman for the Kaduna state police, has confirmed the newest kidnapping.

    Kafanchan is about Three-1/2 hours’ drive northeast of Abuja.

    “The two police escorts attached to them engaged the kidnappers in a fierce gun battle, which resulted in the unfortunate death of the two police officers,” Aliyu mentioned.

    A spokesman for the United States Embassy in Nigeria declined to remark. The Canadian overseas service didn’t instantly reply to an e-mail requesting remark.

    In October, kidnappers took 4 Britons in Delta state within the south. Three have been launched after negotiations, however the different, Ian Squire, was killed.
