Niger governor saves college students from hoodlums

    The convoy of the Gov. Abubakar Sani-Bello of Niger on Friday saved the lives of injured college students of the Army Day Secondary School, Minna, attacked by hoodlums.

    The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) stories that the governor’s convoy was on its strategy to Abuja once they noticed the unlucky incident.

    “The students were on their way home after the school closing hour. The hoodlums attacked and wounded some of the students,” a member of the convoy instructed NAN.

    The governor directed the ambulance on his convoy to hurry one of many injured pupil who had his hand stabbed by the hoodlums to be taken to IBB Specialist Hospital Minna for therapy.

    “I’ve given directive to the commissioner of police to make sure that all these accountable for the assaults on the scholars are arrested and prosecuted.

    “We will proceed to make sure that our individuals get pleasure from relative peace and arresting the hoodlums will function deterrent to others with the identical intentions.

    “I’m utilizing this medium to name on mother and father to warning their youngsters on the type of peer group they affiliate with,’’ he stated.

    Sani-Bello stated the state authorities wouldn’t enable individuals with legal tendencies to disrupt the soundness within the state.
