The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has referred to as on motorists and different petroleum merchandise customers in Abuja and its environs to not have interaction in panic shopping for of merchandise.

It assured that the company is working laborious to resolve all points with Tanker Drivers in a press release signed by Mr Ndu Ughamadu, Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, on Wednesday in Abuja

“NNPC needs to state that the company and different related authorities businesses are in session with the management of the Petroleum Tanker Drivers (PTD), a transfer that has led to the union’s reconsideration of its menace to cease dispatches at some depot earlier at this time,’’ it mentioned

It famous that members of the PTD had on Wednesday threatened to stop loadings from the depot over parts of Mokwa-Jebba Road which that they had thought of had been in dangerous state.

“Relevant authorities businesses had stepped in with a view to addressing the issues of members of the union,’’ it added.
