Senate President Bukola Saraki has directed the Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Downstream) to chop quick its recess and instantly convene a gathering with stakeholders within the industries.
This he mentioned was in a bid to finish the continued gasoline disaster and the untold hardship it was presently unleashing on Nigerians.

Consequently, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Downstream), Sen. Kabiru Marafa, mentioned the committee has invited the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr Ibe Kachikwu, Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Mr Maikanti Baru and different related stakeholders to an important assembly on Thursday, Jan. four, 2018.
Marafa mentioned the assembly would tackle the lingering gasoline shortage bedevilling the nation in the previous few weeks with a view to placing a whole cease to the unsavoury growth.
