    In a letter to Senate President Bukola Saraki, President Muhammadu Buhari vowed to evaluate the complete nationwide safety structure to sort out the nation’s challenges.

    Th letter dated Jan. 25, 2018 was learn by  Saraki throughout Wednesday’s plenary.

    “Action is being initiated and I expect to receive maximum cooperation from the Senate in line with Paragraph Three of the Senate resolutions”, President Buhari wrote.

    “As I briefed you and the Rt. Hon Speaker after we met on the Jan. 14, a number of programs of motion have been taken previous to the senate decision.

    “You might recall that I informed you of the next steps taken as quickly as the data got here to me concerning the Benue killings.

    “On Thursday, Jan. four, I despatched the Minister of Interior and the Deputy Inspector-General of Police in control of Operations for an on-the-spot evaluation of the scenario.

    “The Commissioners of Police from the six aforementioned states and Comptrollers of Civil Defence of the six aforementioned states have been a part of the assembly.

    “At the occasion of Governor Samuel Ortom, a gathering was held within the presidential villa on Jan. 15 with a cross-section of Benue individuals the place frank and open discussions have been held.
